本書(shū)的寫(xiě)作視角是考察當(dāng)代西方翻譯研究的主要成果及其對(duì)翻譯活動(dòng)產(chǎn)生的影響，重點(diǎn)探討當(dāng)代西方翻譯理論的發(fā)展脈絡(luò)，梳理這一時(shí)期歐美翻譯學(xué)界的主流思想。全書(shū)從翻譯研究概況入手，分析20世紀(jì)后四十年到本世紀(jì)初的主要翻譯流派，涉及語(yǔ)言學(xué)翻譯理論、功能學(xué)派翻譯理論、闡釋學(xué)派翻譯理論、文化研究學(xué)派翻譯理論、解構(gòu)主義翻譯理論、女性主義翻譯理論及后殖民翻譯理論，并對(duì)當(dāng)今翻譯研究和翻譯實(shí)踐中有爭(zhēng)議的三個(gè)重要問(wèn)題進(jìn)行了討論。
